Data File Change Log

The purpose of this page is to identify when changes are made to the various HeavyMetal data files, and which files are affected, so users will know if they need the revised files. It only covers later files (sorry), but will come in handy in the future. You can download all the latest data file updates on the Data Files Page.

Updated HMPro Files

Thunderbolt 10SE usage was corrected. That file is located in the RS:3067 zip file. Also, all BattleMech files were updated, so that any Quad designs would have the corrected cost for leg actuators that today's HMPro update fixed. It will probably be quicker for you to just update your own files, using the HMPro menu Options > Utilities > Update All Data Files; do this for all of your HMPro folders. The new zip files are all located at the Data Files Page.

Updated ProtoMech Files. Again

Okay, while I did correct some Usage information, it was not updated in accordance with Field Manual: Updates. So, I've gone back through and made sure that the usage now includes the usage described on page 218 in the Random ProtoMech Assignment Table. A new zip file of all ProtoMech designs with the latest usage and other information is now available at the Data Files Page.

Updated ProtoMech Files

Somehow, many of the ProtoMech data files as they have been recently provided lacked the Usage information. Therefore, a new zip file of all ProtoMech designs with the latest usage and other information is now available at the Data Files Page. Also, we have confirmed that all designs which have official pictures have the pictures correctly linked to the data file.
