The Panther is the first new dropship to be produced by Dynamico Ltd in almost three centuries. It is speculated that during the confusion of the FedCom Civil War, Dynamico managed to steal plans for the new Hercules Dropship produced at Bowie Industries. Fortunately the Panther differs from the Hercules enough that Bowie has been unsuccessful in its legal attemps to stop the production or get royalties off the design.
