They didn't know what the hell it was, of course, but Duncan needed a 'Mech and Andrew loved to tinker. Six months later, with a serious dent into Captain Charles' operations budget, this 'Mech, the first Last Rites saw the light of day.Designed to obliterate opposition rather than wear it down, and the general reinforcement of the chassis nessestated the installation of twin 20 Class autocannons. These were located in each torso, freeing up the arms for the 'Mechs long range punch, a pair of ChrisComp heavy lasers. A little ChrisComp laser was mounted in the center torso as Andrew likes a little reassurance in that location and seventeen heat sinks were added to allow the barrage fire of either the laser array or the twin cannon.dThis 'Mech served the Cavalier Cavalry, as piloted by Father Lt. Duncan MacKenzie from 3010 to 3032. Duncan MacKenzie would send 14 'Mechs to their grave in various skirmashes from 3010 to 3032 before refitting the chassis once again.
