Patrolling the huge structure is a monumental task, especially if there is a great deal of traffic on the bridge. The Aberystwyth Highway Patrol commissioned Buell to make ten of these super-fast hoverbikes specifically for the task of law enforcement on the grand structure. The high costs of this bike prevents a more wide spread deployment.xWith a top speed of 400 kilometers an hour, there is no place on the bridge that law enforcement cannot respond to near-instantly. A high-end computer and ranging system allows for this speed to be kept up on the highway system. To deter small arms fire they have a small ammount of armor, and an effective small laser to perform attacks against the problem of armed bandits. mThese hoverbikes proved formidible highway scouts during the conflict between the Sixth Lyran and the 1st AC.
