Overview:
There is a saying. Too many cooks spoil the
broth. Such is a case with this 'Mech. The Monster (as
it has been named by other intelligence agencies) was
designed by committee and by the time it reached the
production stage it had turned into the costliest 'Mech
in the Inner Sphere.
Capabilities:
The original specifications called for an
Assault 'Mech to carry two C3 Masters into the field.
Which this 'Mech certainly does. However, other features
were quickly added on by other groups. To give it speed
the largest engine in production was added along with
MASC. For protection it has been equipped with Stealth
Armor. An active probe and an all energy armament of one
ER PPC and 11 ER Medium lasers were installed.
One committee even gave it Omni capability,
though no variants have been planned.
Variants:
More than likely some of the advanced
features will be scaled down in the final production
model.
Deployment
As this 'Mech is only in the prototype stage
it has yet to be deployed in any unit.
