There are many stories of heroes in today's military, but none so touching as that of The Fish, a Betta Splendens (also known as a Siamese fighting fish or just plain Betta) who flies with our U.S. Navy around the world. A common fish by birth, who rose to the challenge of being an uncommon pilot, The Fish has currently flown more aircraft types than any other aviator aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy.
